I host the same event every month. Is there an easy way to copy the info from another event?

Yes. We have a \"copy\" button that allows you to create a new Tweetup based on one you previously organized.

So, log in with your Twitter account

Then, go t either your \"Upcoming Tweetups\" or \"Past Tweetups\" tab and click on the button \"copy\"

You will be taken to the Add a Tweetup form with all of the information filled in. Change what is necessary (make sure you change the date) and click on \"Create a Twtvite\"

What\'s the difference between a Public/Private Twtvite?

You can create public or private Twtvites. You can add the same information, are accessed, and the RSVP works similarly.

The main difference is that Private Twtvites are NOT:

- Searchable on Twtvite.com
- Displayed anywhere on the public Twtvite.com site
- Sent by one of the Local Twtvite accounts (http://twtvite.com/twtvite-local.php)

However, if the URL is shared, anybody can access, leave comments, or RSVP to this event.

Usually Private Twtvites are shared with a limited small number of people via email or DM.

How to edit/delete a Twtvite?

To edit/cancel an event, simply \"log in\" with your Twitter account (click on the Twitter icon on the top/right).

You\'ll be asked to verify your credentials with Twitter.

Once you login, you have the option to edit, update RSVPs, or cancel an event.

At the top of the page, you also have access to all previous Tweetups organized by you or that you attended.

How can I update my RSVP list?

You can update your RSVP by choosing the new option (Yes, Maybe, No) in the event. You cannot remove your name from the list. If you RSVP\'ed with the wrong account and would like it removed, please contact the event organizer or @twtvite.

If you\'re the organizer of an event, you can update the RSVP list. Follow the steps below:

1) Sign in as the organizer

2) Click on Update RSVPs

3) Enter the Twitter handler + change the RSVP

Can I embed Twtvite in my blog/website?

Yes, you can find the embed code under the \"Tools\" tab in your Tweetup page.

Copy and paste it where you want Twtvite to display your Tweetup\'s info. See an example below.

The map in my Twtvite isn\'t correct. How can I change it?

For some non-US addresses, Google doesn\'t return the map correctly. You can update the map to the correct location:

1) Sign in as one of the organizers on the top/right

2) You will see a link below the map. Click on it.

3) You should now be able to drag and drop the pin to the correct location in the map.

PS: If you\'re unable to drag and drop the pin, your JavaScript file must be cached. In order to get the latest one, hold the \"Shift\" key and click on the \"Refresh\" button on your browser.

Can I print a guest list for my Tweetup?

Yes, the Twtvite Guestlist is available under your \"My Twtvite.\"

In order to access it, sign in with your Twitter account.

Under each Tweetup that you\'re organizing, you will see an option to access its guestlist.

The guestlist will display all \"Yes + Maybe\" RSVPs grouped by Twitter users and non-Twitter users.

Why should I check in?

You can now let people know when you arrive at your Tweetup. When you visit your Tweetup page 30 minutes before the start date (for the early birds) you will notice a \"Check in\" button instead of the usual \"RSVP buttons.\"

Note that people can check in even if he/she has NOT RSVP\'ed before (if the Tweetup isn\'t full yet)

To make it even easier, you can also Check in by adding the #checkin hashtag to your tweet (during the Tweetup.)

How to set up a Twtvite Widget on a Facebook Fan Page?

Follow these steps to install/setup Static FBML Boxes to your Facebook Pages:

1) Search and install Static FBML on Facebook

2) Go to Twtvite and get the Facebook Widget Code

2) Click on edit page

3) Paste the Twtvite Facebook Widget Code in the FBML box

4) You will notice that a new tab was created: \"Boxes\" If you\'d like to move it to the sidebar, click on edit and choose \"Move to Wall Tab\"

Twtvite automatically creates a photo gallery for your Tweetup

Twtvite saves all of the tweets linking to your Tweetup or using the #hashtag you selected.

From these tweets, we identify the ones linking to images via Twitpic, PhotoTweet, YFrog and we automatically create a photo gallery for your Tweetup. (pic 1)
