How does Twtvite's RSVP work?

Twtvite uses Twitter oAuth to verify your RSVP.
We do NOT get any information from your account that isn't already publicly available. The Twitter oAuth is for verification purpose only. See more info about it below.
There are two types of access provided by Twitter: (1) read-only and (2) read and update.
Twtvite requests the "Read-only" access, so we can verify that the person who is RSVP'ing to an event is who they say they are.
We do NOT update or access anything from your account. The type of access given to us does NOT allow us to do that (nor do we need it).
