How can I update my RSVP list?
Added by @twtvite less than 2 weeks ago

You can update your RSVP by choosing the new option (Yes, Maybe, No) in the event. You cannot remove your name from the list. If you RSVP'ed with the wrong account and would like it removed, please contact the event organizer or @twtvite.

If you're the organizer of an event, you can update the RSVP list. Follow the steps below:

1) Sign in as the organizer (image 1)
2) Click on Update RSVPs (image 2)
3) Enter the Twitter handler + change the RSVP (image 3)

How do I know a Twtvite Reminders were sent out?
Added by @twtvite on Dec 27, 2009 at 3:21:08am (updated on Dec 27, 2009 at 3:24:07am)

Twtvite sends out auto-reminders to all Twitter accounts that RSVP Yes/Maybe to an event twice: 1 week and 1 day before it.

There are a couple of way you can verify that the reminders were sent out:

1) You, as the organizer, should also get a reminder.

2) You can check the Twitter feed: @twtvite_alert to see all of the reminders that has gone out. Unfortunately these tweets will NOT show up on searches.

Added by @twtvite on Dec 16, 2009 at 12:52:54am

YES!

When you're at a Twtvite page, you will see a link to "Not on Twitter" users below the "Yes, Maybe, No" buttons.

Click on the link and you will be asked your name and email address to RSVP to the event.

How to edit/delete a Twtvite?
Added by @twtvite on Jul 10, 2009 at 6:20:40pm (updated on Oct 7, 2009 at 2:04:30am)

We have modified how you manage your events. To edit/cancel an event, go to "Sign in" (top/right).

You'll be asked to verify your credentials with Twitter. It does NOT give us permission to modify/send updates on your behalf.

Once you login, you have the option to edit, update RSVPs, or cancel an event.

At the top of the page, you also have access to all previous Tweetups organized by you or that you attended.

Add sponsors and partners to your Tweetups
Added by @twtvite on Sep 27, 2009 at 5:39:07am (updated on Sep 27, 2009 at 8:36:24am)

Last week we added the option for you to have more than one Tweetup organizer.

For those of you have have sponsors for your Tweetups, you can now list them as sponsors, so that they get the recognition they deserve :)

So, when you create your next Tweetup, you will notice 3 fields for linking to Twitter users:

Organizers: Add everyone helping making the Tweetup happen. All of these users will have access to update the it later (by signing in with their Twitter acct)

Sponsors: Add everyone financially vested in the Tweetup.

Partners: Add 3rd party applications used during the event or media partners.

How does Twtvite's RSVP work?
Added by @twtvite on Jul 30, 2009 at 5:17:25pm (updated on Sep 20, 2009 at 1:09:04pm)

Twtvite uses Twitter oAuth to verify your RSVP.

We do NOT get any information from your account that isn't already publicly available. The Twitter oAuth is for verification purpose only. See more info about it below.

There are two types of access provided by Twitter: (1) read-only and (2) read and update.

Twtvite requests the "Read-only" access, so we can verify that the person who is RSVP'ing to an event is who they say they are.

We do NOT update or access anything from your account. The type of access given to us does NOT allow us to do that (nor do we need it).

How to Share Twtvite?
Added by @twtvite on Sep 20, 2009 at 1:04:11pm

Twtvite is a Twitter event manager that lets you start a Tweetup and manage RSVP through Twitter.

We do NOT tweet automatically for you.

In order to share your Tweetup with your followers/friends, use the "Twitter, Facebook, Share this" shortcut links on the right side of your Twtvite page.

You can also "copy and paste" the Twtvite link and share it via email, IM, etc.

How can I print Name tags on Twtvite
Added by @twtvite on Jul 14, 2009 at 8:34:35pm

You can print Name tags for everyone who RSVPs Yes or Maybe (just in case they decide to show up).

In order to do that, go to your event's page, click on the "Who is going?" tab. Just above the list of people who RSVP'ed, you will find the following options:

(1) Photos: Will display the photos of all attendees
(2) Name list: the default view - list of their Twitter names
(3) More info: List of the people with their Twitter description + # followers / followings / updates
(4) Print Name tags

So, you choose the last option (4).

Due to the print formatting in some browsers, you might be better off copying the content and opening it on Word, so you can make sure the format aligns with your name tag paper standards.

PS: Some people have found issues "Copying and pasting" it, so you might also want to try "saving" that page and then opening it in Word.
